The legend of David Jr. A tale of a "lost" brother...


Who is David Jr.? He is a supposed "lost" member of the tingle brothers found in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.  Why was he lost? Is he really a member of the Tingle brothers? No and yes. This is a tale of his random encounter with everyone's favorite hero: Link!

Back in Outset Island, before Link receives his heroic green tunic. He is seen asleep, but what you didn't know is that why he was asleep? During the night, he was having fun with Aryl eating his grandmas Elixir Soup. Then a strange noise occurred. The sound was a sound that normally sounds like stilts. So link and Aryl go outside and see what's up. Despite the loud noise, nothing was harmed.  So Link looked at Aryl, who was scared by the noise and ran back inside until the morning (hence why she comes out looking for Link in the games beginning) Link was still curious about this odd sound, but then he heard a quick "Hy-up" voice and a mysterious person  seen behind him. The mysterious person looked kind of like Tingle. So Link assumed it was him and did nothing, The shadow spook and it sounded like Tingle; "Link… oh Link…!" he said, so Link still assumed it was Tingle, but then it just warped away, so Link searched for him. The voice got louder and louder as Link got closer to the three boats in the sand. As he slowly moved closer to the middle boat, he heard a "Help… Help me Link!" coming from it. Link stealthy and steadily looked inside, only to be quickly grabbed by by the throat by a thin, boney hand and he was greeted from a loud snare by the person who looks like Tingle.

???: 'YOU! You ruined my life you ungrateful little brat!" the mysterious person said, his voice sound squeaky, almost insane like a clown. Then he slowly pulled Link closer to him. This mysterious person smelling like a dead man and has nothing but a light blue jumpsuit on. He whispered into Links ear viciously and violently "you tell me where that master Sword of yours is right now else I'll tell my master to…" He said, shutting his lips after the word "to" so Link doesn't get suspicious. Then the malnutrined person shoved Link away onto the sand, shoved more and more on it until Link couldn't move, grabbed something odd out of his suit, which looks like a Game Boy Advance, only light blue. Then he moved the volume up just a little bit on it and then place it next Link, who was laying in pain, cause him to hear a terrible scream going on, sounded like the scream of 10 thousand dogs crying in pain. Now this is something Link has never heard before and since it was only going on in his head, it caused Link to scream and cry a bit because of how sad it sounded. David then took the odd GBA-like device and make the volume slider go about half way up... Causing a new sound all together to be heard from the device, and even produce a little picture on it's screen. David grinned, and showed the screen up to links eyes and what appears to be, his grandma and sister.. except with Link and his sword chopping their heads  off. Going as detailed as to showing blood and bones from the head-chopped bodies. The little sound being produced from the system was a simple 'Kill Link... Kill Link..." Which looped until the sound was turned down, up or completely off. hearing the words "Kill Link..." horrified Link very bad because it sounded lot like "Killing". This, combined with the mentally disturbing image from the screen completely broke Links sanity. David noticed this because he saw Link smiling after a bit from the picture. David, feeling like he has hypnotized Link for good, took the GBA away from Links sight.

Link, still hearing the words "Killing... killing" along with the little picture still stuck in his head, looked up at David with a smile and possessed look and decided that he knew what he must do... Kill him grandma and sister. So David smiled eviler and asked Link a simple 2 questions:

"So... who do you want to call?" David asked, chuckling as he knew what Link might be thinking.

Link, unable to reply, smiled as he probably knew what David was thinking as well.

David, who slowly decided to pull Link out and grinned "That's right1 I am your Master David! Now... Go destroy your loved ones... It's an order!"

Link smiled and slowly walked back into his grandmas house. His grandma looking nervous and spoke to Link, 'Link...? are you ok sonny?". Link, still feeling possessed didn't say a single word. Climbed up the ladder and grabbed the shield, then jumped back down and slammed it's rough, metallic, rusty surface against his grandmas head, knocking her unconscious. Aryl, looking scared, walked over to the head smashed, unconscious old lad, looked back at link with small ears going down her face because of what Link had done.

"L... Link...? What happened? Why are you like this...?" She said softly. Hoping Link will calm down "If... If your mad... Don't take it out n your grandma... Take it.. Take me instead!'

Link didn't say a thing and just nodded, then he slammed the shield against Aryls head. Causing her to go unconscious as well... Link, feeling successful with his accomplishment. Finally broke out of his possessed state and saw the bodies. Feeling guilty, Link felt like it was all his fault and just could not live with himself. He ran outside and as far as into the breach, trying to drown himself from sadness and depression. After a good 5 minutes of not holding his breath at all or even closing his eyes. Link started to gag and eventually drown himself. All life for the little lad was over until a mysterious old man with a spear came outside and see a Link out in shore. He grabs the Link and takes him up to the lookout tower and places him there for a nice, breezy sleep.

The next morning, Aryl and her grandma wake up, feeling intense pains on there head... Feeling like it was a dream decided to search for Link, the grandma checks the house and Aryl checks her favorite seeing spot and finds a unconscious Link laying there. Thus starting the events of Wind Waker.
